Our Cultural Lens
ElseWhere
ElseWhere is Foxglove’s journal, a space for shared stories that we find interesting. It is rooted in culture, style, sport, and food, but refuses to be contained by any one of them. Instead, it explores where ideas intersect and influence each other: a music score shaping a docu series, the politics of sport meeting the language of fashion, the flavour of a season captured on a plate. Each story is a lens on how culture moves, mutates, and connects.
ElseWhere is not a press release or a portfolio. It is opinion, reflection, and conversation. Some pieces are essays, thoughtful, critical, sometimes speculative. Others are profiles, celebrating the artists, athletes, chefs, and communities who stretch the boundaries of what culture can be. It is a showcase of collaborations, but also a testing ground: a place where we share the experiments, field notes, and observations that don’t fit neatly inside a client brief but still matter deeply to the work.
Like its name suggests, Elsewhere looks outward. It seeks new voices, listens for shifting signals, and pays attention to the spaces culture is being rewritten, online and offline, grassroots and global. It captures what inspires us as a studio and what we believe will shape the next chapter of culture.
Above all, ElseWhere is guided by curiosity. It is not bound by category but by connection. By documenting projects, spotlighting collaborators, and publishing insights, it extends Foxglove’s practice into the wider cultural dialogue. It is both archive and editorial, both record and experiment, a journal of movement, cadence, and common ground.
