ASCENO commissioned the team to create a Spring Summer campaign that would hero the collection’s new prints, pyjamas, and tailoring while deepening the brand’s storytelling identity. The brief asked for a narrative that felt like an intimate solo escape, a woman embracing time alone, immersed in nature, reconnecting with herself, and moving freely between land and sea. The concept needed to merge the brand’s signature effortless elegance with a rustic, cinematic backdrop that reflected both the freedom of travel and the intimacy of being at home in one’s own skin. The deliverables required a balance of cinematic stills assets designed for multi-platform use.

We led the project from concept through to delivery, developing the creative direction, conducting extensive location research, and managing full production and post. We selected the Norfolk coastline as the setting, using its expansive beaches, textured dunes, and rustic cabin interiors to frame the story, allowing us to move fluidly between intimate interior moments and wide-open natural landscapes, reinforcing the tension between stillness and freedom that underpins ASCENO’s design ethos.

Casting a single model talent to carry the narrative created intimacy and focus, allowing the garments to feel lived-in rather than staged, while styling, light, and direction leaned into a retro-natural aesthetic, playful, sensual, and quietly confident, aligned with the brand’s effortless identity.

The shoot was designed as a complete visual toolkit, from hero stills in cinematic, editorial compositions to product-led shots that highlighted key pieces, lifestyle detail frames that grounded the campaign in atmosphere. Post-production was handled in-house with careful attention to colour grading and tonal consistency, resulting in a sun-washed, timeless palette across the body of work. The outcome was a comprehensive stills campaign that positioned ASCENO’s Spring Summer collection in a world of intimacy, natural beauty, and understated sensuality.
